Climate change is like a slow-moving, runaway train we thought we could stay in front of or stop, but we haven’t noticed it has crested a hill and is now accelerating faster and faster toward the inevitable.

The existential threat of rapid climate change to the civilization to which we have all become accustomed has prompted numerous solutions, a few of which are outright dangerous.
